Climbing Blooms – Impress Rubber Stamps

When I first saw this stamp, I knew the possibilities were endless. The size of the stamp and all the open areas, makes this the perfect stamp for Copics. The various flowers in the Climbing Blooms, opens the door to  a wide range of color combinations. I must tell you, this card is a little deceiving. In order to create the proper shading to add depth, a lot of color variations are needed.  Before I knew it, I had used a lot of Copics. Lastly, the subtle shading for the background was created by air brushing with Copics. Air brushing allows you to create a soft background.

Despite the number of Copics used and the air brushing, the card is really quite simple.
