Savvy Holidays – Beautiful Card Ideas

We have just gotten in tons of beautiful new holiday and winter stamps from Savvy and Impress. These stamps will help you create simple yet stunning holiday cards that are perfect for ‘mass’ productions. Here are just a few samples.

This Snowglobe Card was created by Melanie Brown using the new Birch Tree, Snowflake, Petite Deer and Let it Snow stamps from Savvy.  Melanie got here inspiration from the creative ladies at Savvy Stamps; however, she had a ingenious idea when she applied her glitter. If you are like me, I LOVE GLITTER but I sometimes avoid using it because it does not always like to stay on the card. Melanie stamped all her images and then used her Xyron Adhesive machine to apply adhesive on top of the stamped images. She then applied her glitter giving the card a snowglobe effect. I was really surprised at how well the glitter stays on the card and NOT on my hands!  I am now inspired to use more glitter on my cards this holiday season. :)  Thanks Mel!

 

This next card was created using the Savvy Outline Poinsettia and Merry Christmas Stamp. The card base is Memory Box’s scalloped note cards. The Poinsettia was colored using Copic Markers and center was accented with AMuse Pearls. This card is simple and quick yet elegant. This is a perfect card for mass producing for your holiday cards this year.

This Ornament card was created using Savvy’s Swirl Ornament, Pine Branch and Merry Christmas Stamp. Both the Swirl Ornament and Pine Branch stamps have been very popular. So versatile and so elegant. Once again, this is a perfect card for mass producing for your holiday cards.

 

This last card was created using Savvy’s Cupcake Snowman and Sweet Holiday Wishes stamps. The little Snowman was colored using Copic Markers.

Savvy's New Florals and Flourishes

The latest images from Savvy are absolutely stunning. There are beautiful flourishes, fresh florals, and intricate backgrounds. All these come together allowing you to create clean and fresh cards all in Savvy Style. Here are just a few samples created and designed by the creative team at Savvy.

First, we have this beautiful card that was created using yellow Bazzil paper. The stamps used were the Tile Pattern Background Stamp along with the Ornate Solid Flower. Add a sentiment such as the Thank You Stamp used here and viola, you have a stunning card.

Next, we have Outline Chrysanthemum stamped on top of the Ornate Swirl Background. If the Ornate Swirl Background stamp looks familiar, there's a good reason. We actually first saw this stamp used Savvy Christmas Cards and this it was used again on their Valentine's Day Cards. This demonstrates the versatility of these wonderful backgrounds. Once again, you can create a fresh, clean look if very little time.

 Next, we have a beautiful Thank You card that was created using dark brown Bazzil cardstock. The scalloped circle can be cut using the scalloped circle Nestabilities. Next, the Floral Medallion was stamped. Lastly, add a sentiment such as the Thank You sentiment from Savvy and add a simple ribbon tied in a knot. Done!

Lastly, this card was created using the Ornate Flower Head that was once again stamped on the Ornate Swirl Background. The Ornate Flower Head was colored using Copic markers. Stamp and simple sentiment and done!
